| The Conveyancing Department has 24 full time lawyers, several trainee solicitors and over 80 supporting staff providing a full range of services on real estate development projects and tenancy matters at the firm's offices located on 25/F, Jardine House, 1 Connaught Place, Central and Rooms 2801 and 3238, Sun Hung Kai Centre, 30 Harbour Road, Wanchai.
The core of the Department's services covers:
- sale and purchase, sub-sale and purchase, mortgage, lease and property management of the residential, industrial and commercial buildings (both completed and uncompleted buildings, Consent and Non-consent Schemes);
- sale, joint or individual development and financing of real estate projects, review and advice on Government Grant, and the drafting of Deeds of Mutual Covenant, building management agreement and other relevant documents;
- applications to the relevant authorities for approvals such as Consent to Pre-sale, Consent to Lease, Modification of the terms of Government Leases such as change of user;
- mortgages and other legal documents for banks, financial institutions and individuals; and
- land development and redevelopment projects including residential estates, shopping arcades, office buildings, service apartments, hotels, data centres and projects along the MTR and Airport Express routes.
Over the years, the firm has built up an extensive network of clients and connections comprising property developers, public bodies, government agencies, enterprises, banks, financial institutions and individuals.
